Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you sign up, we collect:

  • Your email address (from Stripe, for account management and support)
  • Your payment information (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details)

When you use the service, your OpenClaw instance stores:

  • Your workspace files (notes, memory, agent configuration)
  • Your conversation history with your assistant
  • Any data you choose to provide to your assistant (emails, calendar info, etc.)

Where Your Data Lives

  • Your workspace is stored on DigitalOcean Spaces (Sydney, Australia)
  • Your OpenClaw container runs on DigitalOcean App Platform
  • AI model requests are processed by DigitalOcean Gradient (their AI inference platform)

Your data may pass through infrastructure in regions outside Australia as part of normal operation.

What We Do With Your Data

Nothing, besides running your service.

  • We don't sell your data
  • We don't share your data with third parties (beyond our infrastructure providers)
  • We don't train AI models on your data
  • We don't access your workspace unless you ask us to for support purposes

What Our Providers Do

Your prompts and AI responses are processed by third-party model providers through DigitalOcean. Their data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. We recommend reviewing DigitalOcean's privacy policy.

Data Retention

  • While your subscription is active: all data is retained
  • After cancellation: workspace data is kept for 30 days, then permanently deleted
  • Payment records: retained as required by law (managed by Stripe)

Your Rights

You can at any time:

  • Export your workspace data (ask your assistant or email us)
  • Delete your account and all associated data (email us)
  • Ask what data we hold about you (email us)

Security

Each customer gets an isolated container. We don't share infrastructure between customers at the application level. Workspace data is synced to object storage but is not encrypted at rest beyond what DigitalOcean provides by default.

We do our best, but no system is perfectly secure. See our Terms of Service for liability limitations.
